JOIN SMHS BAND

There are two major components of South Meck's band program: Band Classes and Extracurricular Band groups.

• Band Classes: Band classes are held during the school day on an A/B-day schedule (i.e., they meet every other day for the entire school year). See the drop-downs under the Programs and Ensembles tab for a description of the band classes. To register, list the class you want to take on your Class Registration form.

• Extracurricular Bands: This includes Sabre Regiment (Marching Band and Color Guard) and Winterguard.

Volunteer for Events

The band always has a need for volunteers! It takes a literal village to keep this band program rolling. Volunteer opportunities will be shared through regular communication channels (Remind texts and emails). All band volunteers must be an approved CMS volunteer. Click here if you are not yet an approved volunteer and need to register.
